Why did you accept the position to start working at RDC?
I accepted the position at RDC because at the time I was working as an Administrative Support Specialist in Behavioral Services for a school district while also pursuing my studies in Human Resources Management. I saw this opportunity as a valuable step toward gaining hands-on experience and transitioning into the HR field.
Why is changing lives important to you?
Changing lives is important to me because I believe the work we do can have a lasting impact on someone’s future. Whether it’s helping someone find opportunities or supporting their growth, it’s meaningful to know that my efforts contribute to their success and stability in life.
Which of our core values do you resonate most with?
What would you like everyone to know about you and your career journey at RDC?
I would like everyone to know that my journey with RDC has not always been easy, but it has shaped me into a stronger and more self-aware professional. The challenges I’ve faced have helped me grow into the person I want to be—not only for myself, but for the team I am building and supporting.
I’ve learned that not everyone will always agree or see things the same way, and that’s okay. What matters most is maintaining respect, staying aligned on our goals, and working together to achieve success.
What is your goal(s) for 2026?
My goal for 2026 is to grow from my current position into a role where I can make an even greater impact on the team and the company. I want to continue developing my skills, and contributing to meaningful outcomes that drive success for everyone.
What is your “why”? What motivates you to show up every day & give 100%?
My “why” is my son. Being a single mom motivates me to show up every day and give 100% because I want to set an example for him. I want him to see that no matter the situation, giving your best shows your character and determination, and that’s the kind of person I strive to be.
What do you do for fun outside of work?
For fun, I love spending time with my son, traveling and, of course, shopping for his new shoes! I also enjoy going to music concerts and festivals; there’s nothing like the energy of live music to recharge and have a great time.
