Peyton Scott is a junior guard on the Miami of Ohio Women’s Basketball team. Peyton is majoring in Sports Leadership and Management with a Thematic Sequence in Cognitive Psychology and a General Business Minor. During her 2020-2021 season, Peyton was ranked in the top 10 in six different categories among MAC leaders including scoring (4th), rebounding (10th), assists (1st), steals (4th), free throw percentage (5th), and minutes played (2nd). Outside of practice, Peyton works as a Student-Assitant at the Miami University President’s office.
Peyton is originally from Lynchburg, Ohio where she graduated from Lynchburg-Clay High School in 2019. During high school, Peyton was a three-time all-league selection, a District 14 Coaches’ Association first-team selection, a two-time District 14 Coaches’ Association second-team selection, a two-time All-Ohio selection, and a three-time all-district selection.
