We were thrilled to roll out our new Manager Movement program during the Men’s March Madness Final 4 in Phoenix, Arizona while proudly sponsoring Grow the Game! The event, held at the PHX Convention Center on Friday, April 5th, provided an excellent platform for us to engage with over 500 top student managers from across the nation and present them with career opportunities. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Grow the Game for this partnership and the opportunity it provided.
What is Grow the Game?
Grow the Game is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering college basketball student managers with free resources and opportunities for professional development and networking, helping kickstart their careers. Founded by two former student managers during the pandemic, the organization has experienced remarkable growth and has only continued to reach new milestones. We were delighted to have the opportunity to sponsor this organization and share more about what we do at Riley Decker Companies with managers from various backgrounds and industries.
What is The Manager Movement?
The Manager Movement is a new initiative started here at Riley Decker Companies. The program presents student managers with an exciting opportunity to kickstart their professional journey within the people-first industry of staffing. Through our generous referral program, individuals who refer a student manager to us will receive $1,000 credited to their school’s student manager fund. Our mission is twofold: to support student manager programs nationwide and to attract top-tier talent to our organization.
The Manager Movement is open to individuals regardless of their degree program or background. We seek students who embody leadership qualities such as a sense of urgency, proactive communication, follow-through, and resilience—attributes commonly found in college basketball managers and essential for success in the staffing industry. We believe this program is a mutually beneficial opportunity for both our company and schools around the nation.
As a company deeply committed to fostering growth and development, we are eager to connect with student managers who share the same values of dedication, motivation, and passion. We anticipate the significant impact this program will have on our organization and student manager programs alike.
Do you have a standout student manager on your support staff?
